My Journey
Hey there! I'm Mausam Kumar Giri, a software engineer building production-grade platforms that solve real user problems at scale.
I work across the full stack with a backend-first mindset, shipping reliable systems for healthcare workflows, diagnostics integrations, and marketplace-grade payments. I enjoy turning complex requirements into clean, practical implementations.
I represented IndiaSkills at the national level and earned Gold in AWS Cloud Computing (2025-26), along with a Bronze medal in Web Technologies in a previous edition.
Beyond product engineering, I stay active in AI/ML research, recommendation systems, and continuous performance optimization to deliver better user experiences.

A novel model for cross-domain recommendation to solve the "cold-start" problem, leveraging transformers to find semantic similarity across different domains. Developed during a research project at NIT Kurukshetra.
